Located within the Leisure World Community, the Leisure World Medical Center offers quality health and related services exclusively for Leisure World residents.
Comprehensive care is offered, using a team approach to complex patient problems, including age related or geriatric problems. Internists, medical specialists, registered nurses, pharmacists, social workers, and dentists are available to assist residents. A valued feature of the Center is the triage nurse service for emergency home visits or telephone advice Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 6 PM. If needed, help is only a phone call away.
Residents are invited to visit the building or call for further information.

Professional pharmacists provide personalized prescription service and consultation to residents of Leisure World for drugs prescribed for you by any physician.
A computerized system:
- Checks for drug interactions by comparing all previously prescribed medications (obtained from the Leisure World Pharmacy) to all ingredients in newly prescribed drugs.
- Provides, on request, an itemized printout of prescribed drugs and charges for any period of time.
- Participates in most insurance plans.

Delivery service is available on request. Also, quality generics are available. Some nonprescription medications, often suggested by physicians, and a few convenience items are stocked. Special requests can be ordered.
