  The Leisure World Community includes townhouses, apartments, and single-family homes, divided into sections known as Mutuals. Mutuals vary in size and are governed by a Board of Directors, elected annually by the residents within the Mutual. Each Mutual appoints a resident to the Leisure World Board of Directors, the governing body of the entire Community.

  An excellent 'round-the- clock security system and gated entrances provide limited access to the Community, allowing residents to feel safe and comfortable inside and outside their homes.

  Leisure World provides both banking and postal services within the Community. Other needs of the residents can be addressed at the adjacent shopping center.

  Leisure World offers bus transportation within the Community and to surrounding areas. Located in the Community are a nondenominational Inter-Faith Chapel and Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.

Leisure World prides itself in offering a wide range of activities for varied interests, including card rooms, billiard room, ceramics studio, art studio, computer center, lawn bowling, and others.
	Leisure World's amenities include indoor and outdoor swimming facilities. Additionally, Leisure World has an 18-hole championship golf course, tennis courts, and exercise facility. The Community is served by three restaurants, with fine dining to casual choices. The auditorium (in Clubhouse II) offers movies, plays, musicals, concerts, lectures, and club meetings.

  A well-equipped Medical Center and full service pharmacy are available to all residents and offer a wide range of physicians, dentists, and specialists.These services are easily accessed by telephoning the Medical Center for an appointment. Emergency home visits by a registered nurse are available at the resident's expense.

  Leisure World does not offer long-term care or assisted living. If a temporary difficulty in independent living occurs, residents would have to seek outside help for their home care, home delivered meals, and shopping services. Information about these services is available from the Leisure World social work staff.

  When a resident determines that Leisure World's independent lifestyle is no longer appropriate or safe, assistance is available from social work staff to identify and locate more suitable living arrangements outside the Community.
